DIANins Group Purchase Guide

Group Purchase Conditions

Each group can include 3-10 members. DIANins recommends keeping the group to four members or fewer so the leader can verify information and payment cleanly.

Every member must use the same school, the same insurance plan, and the same coverage period.

  • This guide is for F-1 international students.
  • Different ages can join the same group.
  • Students with and without prior claims can be grouped together.
  • Undergraduate and graduate students can join the same group.
  • Different nationalities can join the same group.

Group Purchase Flow

Choose one team leader before starting. The leader completes the purchase and payment for the full group; other members reimburse the leader after confirming their insurance documents.

New DIANins users should register a member account first and send the registered account email to the team leader. The leader should collect each member's required personal, school, contact, and payment information before submitting the group order.

  • Log in to dianins.com and search the school name.
  • Choose the group purchase path for the selected plan.
  • Enter the same coverage period for everyone.
  • Enter quote details, including the number of school friends joining the group.
  • Choose no sponsoring organization unless a real sponsor applies.
  • Fill each member's required information in English.
  • Review premium, membership fee, and member information.
  • The leader pays; members receive confirmation emails and insurance documents.

Payment and Follow-Up

If group members do not know each other, DIANins recommends that members do not reimburse the leader before they receive their own insurance documents. If a member still does not reimburse the leader after documents are issued, contact DIANins support for help.

After payment, each member should receive an insurance confirmation email with the policy confirmation, ID card, and terms. Members can then use those documents for waiver submission.

Group member addresses may initially display the leader's mailing address. If a member does not yet have a U.S. address, use the school address first, then log in later and update it to the actual U.S. mailing address.

  • If the leader entered incorrect information and the member cannot edit it directly, contact DIANins support.
  • Keep the insurance ID card available when visiting partner medical providers.
  • Each purchase includes a USD 10 membership fee in addition to the insurance premium.
  • Contact DIANins support if you need the school waiver guide after purchase.
