    BEFORE YOU BUY

Three things to confirm before you buy

Before purchasing, please confirm your waiver deadline, UCLA insurance requirements, and preferred coverage level.

    01

    Confirm your waiver deadline first

If you plan to use a DIANins plan instead of UCLA school insurance, please submit your Fall 2026 waiver by September 20, 2026.

UCLA does not list a Fall 2026 late waiver fee on its official waiver calendar. If you do not receive an approved waiver by the deadline, you will remain enrolled in UCSHIP and be financially responsible for the UCSHIP Health Registration Fee on BruinBill.

UCLA's school insurance plan is UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UCSHIP).

If your waiver is approved before tuition is paid, UCLA will remove the UCSHIP charge from your semester bill.

If tuition has already been paid, UCLA will credit the UCSHIP charge back to your BruinBill student account after waiver approval.
