01
If you plan to use a DIANins plan to waive UCLA's university health insurance, please submit your Fall 2026 waiver before September 20, 2026.
UCLA does not list an official Fall 2026 Late Waiver Fee; if you do not have an approved waiver by the deadline, you will remain enrolled in UCSHIP and be responsible for the corresponding UCSHIP charge on BruinBill.
UCLA's on-campus student insurance is the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UCSHIP).
If you complete and obtain an approved waiver before paying tuition, the school will deduct the UCSHIP fee directly from your new academic term bill.
If you have already paid tuition, the approved waiver will result in a credit refunded back to your BruinBill student account.
02
The DIANins plans displayed on this page have been matched to meet the waiver requirements of UCLA. If your waiver application is formally denied by the university, you are eligible for a 100% full refund.
03
If you want to lower your premium, consider Blue 80;
If you prefer balanced and well-rounded coverage, consider Blue 90;
If you prioritize higher reimbursement rates, compare Blue 100.
